Elemental - Panch Bhuta

Maut kya hai?– Isi Azajaan ka pareshan hona “

( Anasir and Azajaan are urdu synonyms for Elements)

A beautiful couplet from Urdu shayari defines Life as a harmonious arrangement of various elements and death as a disarray of the very same Elements.

The exhibition ‘Elemental’ has been conceptualised with this core idea of the interplay between harmony and disharmony of elements. The creative medium of Ceramics is in itself an embodiment of five elements- earth, water, fire, space and air in perfect equilibrium. Hence, ‘Elemental’ is an exploration of the fundamental nature of these elements and their interplay through three dimensional forms.
