(As you sow, so you shall reap)
Historically every culture has proverbs as they are simple and concretesayings popularly known and repeated, which express truths, based on common sense or the practical experience of humanity.
They are often metaphorical. Proverbs are often borrowed from similar languages and cultures, and sometimes come down to the present through more than one language.
Wisdom of proverbs is mainly imaginary. As a rule, proverbs go in pairs, which say opposite things e.g. the opposite of 'Two heads are better than one,' is 'Too many cooks spoil the broth.'
We at ICAF and Kalakriti Art Gallery, invite you to search within, in your culture, your language or simply in your memory and find a proverb that you can translate in to a visual language using clay as a medium. Eventually the exhibition of these works would become like that wardrobe of Nizam of Hyderabad, this time only filled with wisdom.
